And so it begins.
I would personally like to welcome all of you readers to the Diamondback’s Lifestyles Blog. My name is Dan and I will be your captain for this non-stop flight departing from College Park to the vast unknown realm of technology. During this journey we might encounter some turbulence, and maybe even a shitty in-flight movie, but I promise you that we provide a great kosher meal along with complementary warm towels. You can leave your cell phones on because electronic devices will not interfere with this blog’s aeronautic controls.
For how ever long they let me keep this thing, I hope to not only divulge technological jargon and news, but I also hope to provide a portal into the curiously strange mind of this blog’s writer (Me). So, if right off the bat you are calling me an idiot out loud, hold on, because you’re going to have a lot more ammo in the coming weeks.

Now onto technology! Yesterday, a lot of the globe acted on a promise that finally made me proud to be an Earthling. All across the world, people turned off their lights for one hour during Earth Hour, a campaign developed to address the issue of climate change. People from Australia, Europe, and even America turned their lights off for one hour to conserve how much energy we use. I don’t want to hear anybody whining that global climate change isn’t happening, or that it was Al Gore’s invention. Even if we are wrong about climate change (and pigs fly out of my butt), we are still helping the Earth. Are we really that selfish that we need 100% proof that the world is going to shit in order to actually do something. Progress is the only cure for complacency.

Here’s the article about Earth Hour:

I hope you enjoyed the first leg of our trip. Sit back, relax, and enjoy your in-flight movie: Gigli.
